in 10 years, energy will cost so much where you whould think about doing laundry as to expensive.

gas stations will be far and few inbetween. and many will be out of gas.

walmarts will be half stocked, and farmers markets will start popping up bigger and bigger as more people will be growing there veggies to save some money.

This country has had a lot of idiots royally fuck it over. The more bad things happen the more my cynicism for government and society is added onto. Society is generally accepted over reality, so at some point it takes the awareness that there is a bulk of people leading arrest of us towards peacefulness or a shit-world.

There's no reason in coming up with solutions when there's nothing to take seriously; an example of this is basically how I see the entire 2008 presidential election. I determine my political input such as with voting, on whether or not the whole thing is going to be a joke or not. The current US presidential election is a joke.

There's a lot of good reasons and arguments for America ending. The trend of unionization, our economy, the toll of war-corporatism, consistent dishonest politics, ect. I look forward to seeing how things turn out, but I'll exercise my indifference if the government will address problems just to be bullshitted around and not taken seriously.

If we do eventually go into a recession, it wont last long. Historically, Recessions have never lasted longer than 16 months. Contrary to what you may think, we are NOT in Recession. We have as yet to have one month of negative economic growth, let alone three months in a row.

Ozone depletion? Have you missed the studies? First off, holes in the ozone at the poles are NATURAL. Ozone depletion over the rest of the globe has decreased significantly in the last 10 years.

Global Warming? First... it affects everyone, not just us. Second, there is no proof that it is in fact caused by man. Third, CO2 levels rose AFTER the warming(that has been proven over and over and is ignored by the people making money off global warming). Fourth, global mean temperature is DROPPING over the last 6 years. Last but not least... study after study has come out in the last few years blaming warming on the Sun and Cosmic Rays. 4 years ago scientists attributed only 10-30% of Global warming on fluctuations in the Sun's output. Latest figures are 45-65%.

If we fall, so does China, Japan, Europe... shit, most of the world. They wont let it happen.
