Nosferatu (Herzog)

Bram Stoker's Dracula

The Company of Wolves

Throne of Blood

Andy Warhol's Dracula (best drac line ov all time- "The blood ov these whores is killing me!")

Sunset Boulevard

Ghost in the Shell

Darkside Blues

Metropolis

Dead Ringers

I'm not a big movie watcher so lots of stuff everyone on here likely knows line for line I've never seen. In fact (I will prolly be banned from this board for admitting this), I've never seen Nightmare Before Xmas... by all accounts it sounds like something I'd love, tho.

as a side note, for those who dont know.

there are ALOT of different versions of Metropolis out there. i was quite surprised when i learned that. IMO, the best, most complete version is the 2002 restoration from Kino Video. it supposed to be closest to the original german release, with a few restored scenes and titles that really change the movie.

check it out, if you havent.

Doesn't it have a different music score, too?

I like Lang a lot... had to write a paper on his films when I was working on my B.A. Think I titled it "Greco Deco" or something absurd like that...
