The Michigan Renaissance Festival will be open for an 8th (count it 8) weekend to try and make up for the horrid weekend just past.

Actually they have already chosen all the extras they wanted.... (I wasn't one of them, I guess i dont dress outrageously enough) but they were filming some crowd scenes, and the joust at 3pm on Saturday. They will still be filming this coming weekend, but no more auditions are planned as far as I know. That is what I was told, anyway..(misinformation being what it is, it could be wrong)

Come out anyway... and have fun. Dont come to my shows, though... or you will cry

I was there with hunhee saturday. Had a good time. I heard they have "shows" there.. of which we didn't see ANY. lol. Gonna have to go back. Was a bit exhausting but manageable. (Not due to the venue , just due to myself.)

Did see Chernobyl, Night-gaunt, Tzura, Craven Raven, Tiamata... er.. and some other people I know im forgetting. I kept an eye out for the Savage Minstrel but never did see him I don't think.

I got that info from Sunday's paper; the ad (in the Life section) said that "Hollywood wants an extra weekend", or some shit to that effect.

I actually found the camera crew a bit annoying/somewhat humourous. They were whacking trees trying to get their equipment through the mud..heh I just didn't want to be on camera, and it took a bit sometimes trying to avoid them.

OMFG...don't get me started. In the last hour I was there I was pretty good and drunk, and Boshy called telling us that Vern Troyer (Mini Me) and Christina Ricci were supposed to be there filming for a movie and so we went on this HUGE DRUNKEN search trying to find them....and yet.....nothing.

That's what I get for following my intoxicated dreams. I probably would have been put in jail for mauling Vern Troyer also, so I suppose it's a good thing that they weren't out and about.
