Nienna Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Bedbugs. Unfortunately I now know from experience. They are like straight out of a sci-fil flick. Unbelievably horrifying.
MinaRose Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Spiders, wasps, hornets, bumblebees, yellow jackets, centipedes, millipedes...etc. lol I guess I am just a chickenshit. But I used to collect worms, praying mantis', and 'rolly polies'. lol
LizZyBeaR420 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 ALL OF THEM!! Even lady bugs scare me! Theyre bad luck if their in your house im told.. Except I like caterpillars & butterflys which are pretty much the same thing......
Hellion Posted September 18, 2008 Author Posted September 18, 2008 now thats a centipede,or (train bug)or (living eyebrow).
jynxxxedangel Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 EEEEK!! Scolopendra subspinipes are VERY creepy!!! Even I would probably have a baby elephant, if I saw that thing crawling on me!
Destroit Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 couple of bugs I *really* don't like: Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus (VRE) Multi-drug Resistant Tuberculosis Aside from that, give me a second to overcome some startling, and I will acclimate to most insects (roaches excluded) Psssht, bacteria doesn't count For me? WASPS. Fuck wasps and hornets. I used to be afraid of ALL bees but now I don't mind honeybees and I definately don't mind those fat little fuckers that are fuzzy and fly around my yard all day stealin' my pollen. OMFG...CUTE!
pheramoans Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 The only bug that will actually make me freak out and shriek banshee-like would be COCROACHES! I just can't stand them. I've actually jumped on a chair because of one before >.<
Rev.Reverence Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 STDs HAHAHA!!! & the electronic kind..(like Phee put in the plants at O_M_G's office{ya' I seen 'em})... O.o.O.O....& the computer kind.....
Rev.Reverence Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 ALL OF THEM!!Even lady bugs scare me! Theyre bad luck if their in your house im told.. no..no...they are very good luck.....it is the orangish japaneese lady bugs that are bad luck... they bite..........HARD.
jynxxxedangel Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 no..no...they are very good luck.....it is the orangish japaneese lady bugs that are bad luck... they bite..........HARD. Oh, I hate those things, Rev!!! The tarp over my woodpile was FULL of them last spring. I mean, like a BLANKET-- I've never seen so many! They were actually flying up and dive-bombing my head when I pulled it off. I got pinched more than a few times by those nasty little things that day, while trying to move the wood around to re-stack it. I also hate Japanese Beetles (Popillia japonica), they are very aggressive in late summer. I just about had to wear a beekeeper's hat while pruning my rosebush. Those pinch quite hard, too. Needless to say, I fed many of those to my big spider over the summer (gotta pull the rear legs off first, as they are barbed, and needle-sharp).
Head Wreck Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 i have a long list but i try not to let it unsettle me as i spend many hours on a weekend letting the things crawl all over me and shrieking like a girl will just advertise my shooting position

StormKnight (1) Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Have to add one specific genre of bugs I can be scared shitless of: The Insect Spirits of the Universal Brotherhood (Shadowrun). Those are some real nightmares. Fucking *round chambered* bugs.
