TomCat Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 Rule number 1: :blink :confused Never book a room in an establishment with hourly rates.
Paper Hearts Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 when I was 21 I made a trip to San Francisco, but I had like no money when I got there so I ended up with an hourly room at the hotel St. Paul. after I got the room, I went out and got some food. The cheapest thing of course, was Pizza. I brought the remainder of what I couldn't eat and left it in my room incase I was hungry later. I went out to a few places, had some drinks and came back absolutely starved-when I opened the pizza box like 8 or 9 roaches fled the box and i turned and threw-up in the sink, seeing that display. As I started to look around the room I noticed roaches everywhere...little baby roaches in the bedspread, everywhere-i walked down to the park and laid under a tree.
Brenda Starrr Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 Gee, TC.... That's exactly the same advice you gave me earlier. I need to pick a damned hotel for my visit. Are you sure that the Ramada is going to be decent?
