Hi there. New guy Az here (the tail is optional ie Az_). Got invited by Rev.Reverence by way of other newbie tastiewonderbunny.

Me. Old school Detroit punk that used to hang in City Club way back in the day when punk meant ... well it meant whatever the hell we wanted it to mean.... so there.

Chat me up if you want to talk about life the universe and everything. I usually find myself debating politics or religion (the two subjects everyone warned me to stay away from). If I am not debating such things I am killing pixels. Preferably RPG style. But pixels are pixels and they have to be killed so I will kill pixels which ever way the computer brings them.

Professional computer geek. Unfortunately my job went to India and I didn't. So I have lots of time these days for debate and pixel hunting.

Rev.Reverence has tapped me to join a DnD group looking to try out the 4th ed rules. Sounds interesting. Old school DnDer from back in the day. Haven't played PnP DnD in ages. So it should be interesting.

Other than the Rev ... dunno. Now I am sitting here debating with myself as to whether I should pick up any of the manuals and bone up on 4th ed.

(I was fuckin' with you 'cause I do that...our DnD group meets up at my house generally on Saturday. It's myself, Rev, my boyfriend Craven Raven, and Timata is our DM. Timata's gf also plays but she isn't on DGN.)

Thats cool. Now I have some names to go with the group. Now I just need to figure out the identities. That'll take time though.

Round what time does the gaming commence? And should I get a manual or two to figure out what is going on in the new rules?

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
