Roadkill you say?

We already have something in common. My preppy best friend and I have a shared hobby of roadkill watching. If we see a good one we'll call each other up and describe it, sometimes send pictures :tongue:.

Oh..and I already left a comment on your profile page asking whether your name has anything to do with Repo coming out soon or if it was a coincidence.

After all that has been said: welcome :welcome:

My ex had Linux (all different kinds) working on my computer at some point in time. The last version of Linux (after redhat, suse, and several others) was Umbutu. He got it in bulk, I think I have like 12 more copies of it in my apt. somewhere.

I've always had a huge fondness for Tux.. there's a Linux box store in a2 also...

I always saw Linux for people who like to fiddle with their computers all the time. I really personally hate when anything is moved around on my computer, if all the icons aren't exactly in the same space they were when I last logged off, for some reason it irks me. I guess it's a pet peave of mine..

Wow.. can I babble.. umm..

Welcome to DGN!!! :) Not everyone is as odd as me.. honest. .. *looks around* they're weirder ;)

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      ~~~~~ Definitely wishing you luck.  Do enjoy yourselves.   But I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind was does roadside assistance reach the desert? 😬
      ~~~~~ Yeah, it's like something happened to my metabolism this past Winter and when I came out of hibernation, that AARP Join Request started looking like something to check into.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
