Guest greyhalo Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Here's a thread where we can all bitch, moan, whine, and generally pity ourselves after feeling rejected by someone. So, I'll go first... Yeah, I'm feeling pretty rejected right now. I thought a certain someone would have called me by now. I e-mailed him last week, and he never responded.
Msterbeau Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 No. You can't make me. I refuse to feel rejection. "No" is not the end of the world. Maybe next week...
n0Mad Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I so needed this thread yesterday. But she called today and we had a nice long chat and set some boundaries. So I'm doing okay now. But we'll see how Wednesday goes (or doesn't). I may be back.
Guest Megalicious Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I wouldn't say I'm feeling rejected, you have to actually tell the person how you feel to be rejected, however I am a bit under the weather in the heartbroken department. **sigh** I'll never learn.
Guest Megalicious Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I pre-ject myself from others. I do that sometimes too.
freydis Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Heh. I don't always have the best confidence in the first place....
jynxxxedangel Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 @ "pre-ject"! I never expect anything romantic to happen for me in the first place, because I'm defective! I'm sort of like that must-have toy you pick up off the shelf in the store while Christmas shopping, but you decide not to buy that particular one, because the backside of the box is dented. Packaging counts.. *straightface*

It's not what's inside, but the package its in.. *straightface* Dented packaging? From some of what you've said, i'd have thought more like those elmo dolls that were in the news recently..... the ones that told kids to kill.... You know i kid.

And I can't afford your price tag.
jynxxxedangel Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 This is turning out to be a comedic thread! *le sigh* I guess no one has noticed the 25% off sticker on the bottom of the box. People love things that are on sale! Who knows, I could end up being a major collectors item, like some of the crappy early 90's Hot Wheels made in China.. I wonder how much lead is actually in those, anyway? Why surely more than a slightly demonic-looking, retro-fashion, fully-poseable doll contains!
Shade Everdark Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 No. You can't make me. I refuse to feel rejection. "No" is not the end of the world. Maybe next week... Oo, this is where I get to be a semantic jerk. 'No', as a negation, is denial, a negation. From a certain point of view, then, 'no' IS the end of the world. But that could be my social phobia talking.

Msterbeau Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Nix the nine, 'tis "nein" for "no". He's a truck driver, what do you expect?
punk_princess Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 This past saturday I told someone that I like them as more than a friend which I never do because of a fear of rejection. But unfortunately I got rejected by that guy. God I feel embarassed & hurt now.
StormKnight (1) Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Dealt with rejection most of my life. There has always been that one thing that makes women say "no-no *pffft* I'm out of here." List of things I have been rejected on: -too young -not rich enough -not artistic enough -not smart enough -too smart -too philosophical -not (insert random ethnic backgrond) -too much energy -not conversant enough -too wierd -I am "the other man" (at least twice in my life) -too deep/well read -too broken (i.e. rough life) -not religious enough -too goal driven And people wonder why I am not married/not involved/wanting to give up.
punk_princess Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 The main reason I get rejected alot is because I have a kid which is a really stupid reason.
Reaper Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Nix the nine, 'tis "nein" for "no". I know what the others are. Thats just a quick lookup of how I saw it online. There was a few

hunhee Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I reject this rejection thread.. just on the pure basis of it's existence is rejectable.. And this Pre-Rejectulation.. is that like.. umm.. nm
Guest greyhalo Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 The main reason I get rejected alot is because I have a kid which is a really stupid reason. You just have to find the right man. There are a lot of guys who will date women with kids.
