I recieved a $2/hour raise today!!!!!!!

I even left Ram's Horn early without pie because of it. I was hungry...but felt sick and overheated. It could be because I wore my glasses.

I normally don't in public. And they're different from wearing my contacts around...vision-wise.

Right now, I am feeling hopeful. The car looks to be fixable. Methinks she just needs a new radiator, a new oxygen sensor, a new oil plug or gasket, and the idle adjusted. I checked the oil, and it's full and clear. The radiator is leaking like a bitch. The idle is entirely too high, and it's running much too rich. I started her up, today...and she's not knocking. I think what happened, is the engine got overheated when the radiator started leaking again while I was on the road, and the oil being very thin at that point, just shot out wherever it could escape.

So far, this is a good prognosis.

An old friend's brother-in-law (who is also an old friend of mine) is coming to have a look at it, on Sunday afternoon. I hope he can give me a reasonable estimate. As soon as that happens, I'm going to start purchasing and stockpiling the parts I've tracked down.

As for how I'm feeling right now, it's very mixed. I am happy to actually have a date to look forward to, regarding Chris's arrival. I am bummed-out that I am going to be sitting on my ass, with nothing to do, while everyone else is out having a blast tonight. I am also bummed that I am out of a few needful things, and I have no way to get to the store.
