I've entertained the same thought-- but if we did that, the older, snobbier farts on the new board would probably be making snarky comments about our posts.

All the silliness will pass eventually. It seems to come in short cycles, here.

I'm sad, I'm watching "November Requiem", a documentary on the sinking of the Carl D. Bradley. Of the 35 men on that ship, 33 lost their lives, and of those 33, 23 were from the local area. My great uncle Paul was on the ship when it went down and his body was never recovered. This is just part of the culture up here I guess...sailing is our way of life.
