Here's my dilemma; I've been trying to upload this cover of the Pinky And the Brain (currently vocal-less) and it sounds perfectly fine on my stereo. But, I upload it to myspace it sounds distorted.

Now, I've been uploading it numerous times within the past week under different volume settings and multiband presets but it sounds the same no matter what. And like I said, I've been trying for the past week to make it sound decent which leads me to believe it's not the myspace player. Plus, all the other songs I've uploaded are fine. I'm totally stumped...

Myspace always distorts my stuff, especially sounds like Hi-Hats.. I don't know what the problem is, but here's the settings I use to render mp3's if it helps:

Take ALL the distortion off and try again... (just an idea; try it for me)

Also... I heard that the MySpace is inferior to the LastFM in this respect... you may want to try to put it up there...

There's no distortion on the song and I got rid of the blood overdrive and its still crummy sounding. I just don't understand why only this song and not the others I've uploaded. All the others are fine...

could it be a plugin in your song? sometimes plugins can be buggy and create undesired effects
