my best friend was such a regular at the Troy location that she was invited to the wedding of one of the owner's nieces.

she couldn't go, though. :(

Temptations over in Ypsilanti on Washtenaw Avenue. Yummy Indian food and it's not very hard to get to.

Yotsuba. A great Japanese restaurant right next I-23, also next to Washtenaw Avenue.

Thai:

1. Siam Spicy in Royal Oak. I usually get my food with medium spice, and it's fine. At this place, medium melts your skeleton. I can barely take it, and I can handle spice.

2. Orchid Cafe in Troy on Rochester & Big Beaver is really good too.

5 Guys Burger and Fries is awesome.
