jynxxxedangel Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 After many years of searching, I have FINALLY found this made-for-TV movie on a free movie website!! I'm getting ready to watch it again, for the first time in about 25 years. I wonder if it will still scare me as much! Do any other OG's (Original Goths) remember this movie from their childhood? Plot summary: A young couple inherits an old mansion inhabited by small demon-like creatures who are determined to make the wife one of their own. Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark
Enishi Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Cool, thanks! I love these kinds of movies. I'll watch it later when its darker out.
Hellion Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 wait till you see the movie,The Dentist, one messed up flick. also The World Beyond was good as well.
Miranda Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Yes.. it's getting time to be saturated with horror films just a bit more than usual.
Enishi Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I watched it yesterday. Since I've gotten used to the more recent level of special effects, the movie didn't scare me that much. Plus, I kept thinking to myself "Just step on the damn critters! lol" The ending, along with the music, did manage to creep me out though. Oh yeah, and I watched some clips from the Dentist on youtube. That made me squirm quite a bit, though not quite as much as the ultra slow eye gouging scene from the movie Zombie. Ouch.
Guest greyhalo Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Yes, this movie really creeped me out as a kid too.
MinaRose Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I am watching this movie and I can see why it creeped you two out when you were younger! This shit would have scared the shit outta me when I was little! I do not usually watch scary movies, but I usually can handle the older films. I love old movies. I really like The Tomb of Ligeia, that was awesome...to me anywhore! The little men are pretty creepy...their voices and faces especially...oh, and their hands. The music gives it a little more eerie feel too. I like it so far.
jynxxxedangel Posted September 16, 2008 Author Posted September 16, 2008 The creepy little men... OMG, greyhalo!!! Where did you find that repugnant little thing??? I wouldn't be able to sleep with that doll in my house!!! Whoever made it is very tetched. *gathers cats and spiders closer*
