In particular, I'm feeling grateful for certain ladies here on DGN. Their strength, their empathy, their intelligence, their passion, their style... and other things best kept between us.

Don't ask me what brought this on, besides something I read here reminding me of said feelings.

I'm grateful that my sister has finally found happiness. I've been really worried about her because of all the shit thats happend to her this year.

I'm grateful to have a place of my own, a car, and food to eat. Beats hustling to live in rat-hole motels, flopping at a friend's house who really doesn't want you there, or staying with 'nice guys' who have an axe to grind.

I'm grateful for my son, to being able to provide for him more then my parents did for me.

I'm grateful to be able to teach myself things by reading, because some teachers should NOT be teaching.

I'm grateful for my son's father, that he loves his son and is as involved as he can be in his life (which is alot).

I'm grateful for having enough to get by, being a student/mother is hard.

I'm grateful for good friends who lend shoulders in times of need.

I'm grateful for MUSIC , all kinds.

I am greatful I live in America. As much as people complain about our country and gripe about the government and think everything is going to shit, we're still the greatest country on earth with more freedoms than everyone else combined and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

I am greatful to be alive. I was close to losing that a couple of years ago.
