Msterbeau Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 In particular, I'm feeling grateful for certain ladies here on DGN. Their strength, their empathy, their intelligence, their passion, their style... and other things best kept between us. Don't ask me what brought this on, besides something I read here reminding me of said feelings. That is all. Feel free to express your own gratitudes here, if you wish.
TitsMcGee Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I'm grateful that my sister has finally found happiness. I've been really worried about her because of all the shit thats happend to her this year.
jynxxxedangel Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I'm grateful to have a place of my own, a car, and food to eat. Beats hustling to live in rat-hole motels, flopping at a friend's house who really doesn't want you there, or staying with 'nice guys' who have an axe to grind.
Guest Megalicious Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I'm grateful for my son, to being able to provide for him more then my parents did for me. I'm grateful to be able to teach myself things by reading, because some teachers should NOT be teaching. I'm grateful for my son's father, that he loves his son and is as involved as he can be in his life (which is alot). I'm grateful for having enough to get by, being a student/mother is hard. I'm grateful for good friends who lend shoulders in times of need. I'm grateful for MUSIC , all kinds.
Bernadette Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I'm grateful for ALOT (will write more detail later). I'm grateful for this thread.
phee Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 I am grateful for the strength of my wife. I am grateful for those who have helped me.
Msterbeau Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 I am grateful for having toilet paper nearby to stem the flow of blood from the shaving cut I just reopened...
n0Mad Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 I am greatful I live in America. As much as people complain about our country and gripe about the government and think everything is going to shit, we're still the greatest country on earth with more freedoms than everyone else combined and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Ice Queen (1) Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 I have also been feeling grateful: I am very grateful to be the person who I am now I am grateful for my health and the health of my children, for my family, friends, and career, for opportunity, for the rights I enjoy, and for those who have, and will, sacrifice for them

TitsMcGee Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 Tonight I'm feeling rather grateful I'm sitting in my mothers living room, because I know mama is right up stairs if I start to go down hill. No matter what I do she never gives up on me...ever.

Yes...let us not let the kidds forget that in other places...you get shot for disagreeing with your "elected" officials... (or even putting quotes around elected as I just did)
peelingchrome Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 I am greatful to be alive. I was close to losing that a couple of years ago. I am greatful for my mother. She taught me to not be afraid to think for myself. I am greatful for my friends. Emotional support and camaraderie make life more bearable. I am greatful for free thinkers. I don't always agree with all of them, but that's what it's all about.
TitsMcGee Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 I'm feeling greatful that my mom let me move back in after my sister kicked me out. I'm also greatful for the great people I have in my life who have offered up couches for me to sleep on during this ordeal.
Destroit Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 I'm grateful for every pancake I've ever eaten.
Head Wreck Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 greatful for my health aside from this weeks hicup being pretty damn good
