I liked watching the steam coming out of Obama's ears when McCain made points againsts him.

I listened to it on the radio (I threw my tv out a couple of weeks ago)

so I don't know what their faces looked like.

I dunno...I thought they both did a really good job.

McCain supporters will say he trounced Obama.

Obama supporters will say he trounced McCain.

The REAL question, I think, is what all of the undecideds thought.

Right now, I'm not in favor of McCain or Obama. I was siding with McCain before, but I've grown annoyed with him as well. I still like Ron Paul a lot, but my interest in him is rather pointless.

The debates---sigh, I don't know...

Actually, I thought Obama was able to maintain his cool quite well.

McCain looked & sounded uncomfortable, grumpy & squirrely. He said nothing in specifics that brought me to consider him any differently than I have so far.

After debate one, I am leaning Obama. I will certainly watch the other presidential debates as well as the VP debate this Thursday, however.

McCain defiantly looked uncomfortable.....

He is a moron.....

I do NOT want another idiot being the spokesman for the country I live in.....

Who gives a fuck if Obama is inexperienced.....

Do any of you really think the president actually runs the country?????

Overall, I think they both debated quite well. But, yes, McCain seemed to avoid answering questions directly. He did a lot of story-telling rather then getting to the point. Eh, I'm still just not a fan of Obama either though. I might not vote for either.

I listened to it through Fox News on Sirius. Both did nothing for me as an undecided. I don't believe the "inexperienced" excuse works well though as you can see where this country has gone with an "experienced" president. So I am willing to gamble on someone inexperienced as he does have a lot of advisors who could be experienced. Obama does do well in maintaining his positions though. I'd still like a strong third party though, as I don't want either of these guys in office.

What I'm really tired of is the 'Obama has the most liberal voting record' crap that the right spits out every chance it gets. It's no more true than the garbage about Obama being a 'sekrit turrist-lovin' Mooslim!!eleventy-one!'. McCain trotted it out again in the debate. And the thing is, it's demonstrably false, especially when you consider that Russ Feingold and Bernie Sanders are both Senators and both have markedly more liberal voting records than does Obama. Sanders is an avowed democratic socialist for cryin' out loud.

Can you demonstrate it then? I have as yet to see anyone that was actually able to refute that statement.
