Another batch of thoughts

I told her that I would be alright

But a funny feeling came over me today

I thought I'd finally seen the light

But you know I just don't think that way

Lately things have turned around

My life had turned upside down

And now I can't tell what is wrong or right

It seems funny to you and you're loving it

You seem empty and cold inside

And I know that I will be alright

I told her I couldn't stand the pain

Of her love that's here then gone tomorrow

My life had been slightly rearranged

And now I haven't got the room for sorrow

Lately things have gone astray

But I feel better everyday

Now I can tell what is black and white

Well it may seem funny but I doubt it's true

It's not like anything I had with you

And now I know that I will be alright
