Homicidalheathen Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 so far the only doctors i can find who will even deal with fingers, not hands...guess its more specialized? are at least 45 min to an hour away if anyone knows of a referral i tried sports medicine, i need a hand specialist that WILL deal with severe sports injury to the fingers near macomb county who has finger surgery experience

StormKnight (1) Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Usually Plastic/Reconstructive Surgeons (PRS) do take a hand fellowship. So do some orthopedic surgeons. Working with both, I would say go with a PRS, but make sure they have done a hand fellowship.
