Renaissance... French futuristic film noir, done in this stunning b&w motion-capture animation. Main character is voiced by the new James Bond guy. Pretty damn good, there aren't many movies I can actually sit through but this one kept me engaged the hwole way through.

It was incredible in the theater.

Last movie I saw in the theater? Wall-E, I believe.

Twilight.

Went to the midnight premiere.

It, obviously, wasn't as good at the book...but Edward Cullen and Emmet were extremely drool-worthy and made up for it.

I haven't seen a movie since I let home. Except for a couple on TV, but that doesn't count.

Last movie I watched was 'Enduring Love'. It was definitely different. The one before that was 'Abandon', I really liked that one.

"No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency." This is the story of the daughter of an African chieftain in Botswana. After her father dies and leaves her an inheritance of hundreds of cows, she sells them-- and uses the money to open her own detective agency in the city.

Not a bad flick; the cinematography and direction of the film is excellent, but the characters were a bit one-dimensional. Unfortunately, this is usually the case with movies based on novels. I liked the actress who played the main character, she was very believable.

ah. i saw that on TV some time ago. it was an enjoyable distraction.

I also watched the movie you suggested, HW.

"Braindead" was HILARIOUS, and GROSS! I think I have seen parts of it before, on MST3k. Rat monkeys, zombie-were-rat-monkeys, large bottles labeled generically as "tranquilizer" dispensed by dubious Nazi war criminal veterinarians, an Oedipus complex, lawn mowers, zombie kung-fu priests, a family secret, and star-crossed lovers. Very interesting.

Lol I watched a classic the other night called Misery with Cathy Bates. What a sadistic film. I like the hobbling scene.

Misery is an excellent fucking movie. Last one I saw was American Pie Beta House.

"Braindead" had me ROTFLMAO the whole way through.

"Splatter Disco."

An fetish nightclub/serial murder story musical. Yes, it is a very creative, tongue-in-cheek indie film. If you don't like B-movies, you will NOT like this. There were a lot of things I liked, and didn't like, about this film. You'll just have to see it for yourselves-- I simply cannot describe it! ;)

P.S. There's a cameo appearance by The Fury 3, a kick-ass psychobilly band from Rhode Island.
