eleven Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Hmmmm i watched Across the universe the other day.....
jynxxxedangel Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 "My Left Eye Sees Ghosts." I loved this movie-- of course, I am partial to Hong Kong flicks. This one is funny, scary, and romantic, in a "Beetlejuice meets The Sixth Sense" sort of way. I laughed, jumped out of my skin, and even bawled a couple of times-- and the ending was a complete surprise! My strongest recommendations for this movie, if you are into Asian film (which translates into "reads subtitles well"). http://www.watch-movies.net/movies/my_left_eye_sees_ghosts/

Guest greyhalo Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Time Bandits, last night after I got home, I just couldn't sleep. I know its chessy, but I heart that movie. I LOVE that movie! The last one I saw was "Mrs. Parker" with Jennifer Jason Leigh and one of those Baldwin brothers (I get them mixed up...). It's about the writer Dorothy Parker, and it's not very good.
Riku Namako Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 A tale of two sisters. I love that movie.

pomba gira Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Renaissance... French futuristic film noir, done in this stunning b&w motion-capture animation. Main character is voiced by the new James Bond guy. Pretty damn good, there aren't many movies I can actually sit through but this one kept me engaged the hwole way through.
TrixieGothGirl Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 My hubby and I went to see Death Race at the Navy Base theater. Talk about WOW!!! After the movie was over I told him "There's nothing like a good action movie to drive away the Monday Night Blues" He kinda chuckled at that.
