You enter by going through an unmarked door on the First Street side of the Ramada Hotel building, located at 400 Bagley Street in downtown Detroit. The club is at the top of the stairwell. (see picture in the link above in the DGN calendar entry)

All are welcome. Come meet some of us weirdos.

Saturday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Alcoholic drinks until 2:00 a.m., pop and juices served all night.

Admission is $4

18 and up, 21 to drink with proper ID (no exceptions).

No drugs, weapons, chains or spikes.

We've had reports that the CC parking lot will not break $20 bills or larger, so try to bring smaller bills with you.

In case you don't know the "DGN Corner" is to the right of the bar. Currently theres a table, pillar and long narrow wooden table, impossible to miss. Come say hello. If no one is there, stay there, they will show up.

Gotcha, I don't like them at all, not even a little, so I guess that's why I'm out of the loop on that. I just figured that once a lead singer dies, that generally the end to a band because vocals are the one instrument that imo, cannot be replaced.

Like Skinny Puppy, for instance. Dwayne Goettel died in '95, but the band can go on because he wasn't the lead singer. As much as his signature sound was missed, they were able to make an okay replacement. But had it been Ogre that overdosed and not Dwayne...? It would have been the final end to Skinny Puppy, nobody can replace Ogre as a lead singer for that band EVER, and even if he were replaced there would be no point, imo.

That's why I figured Drowning Pool was no longer around, but I guess anyone can do vocals when it comes to metal-ish bands because they sound the same, for the most part.

Ace and I are currently discussing which nights to go. We kinda want to go Friday but Ace works till 12:15 AM and I work at 9:45 the following morning.

And we of course go on Saturdays.

But Ace has to talk to her boyfriend about driving out both nights. But we don't know.
