I'm attaching a photo of a butterfly. Said butterfly's wings don't actually have any pigment; the color you see is produced by layers of clear proteins that refract the available light. Well...some company has figured out how to duplicate the effect, and is putting out iridescent clothing. I will be buying some.

Wow, those look so weird to me. I think wearing a vinyl catsuit with anything other than vinyl boots really ruins the flow and continuity of the image of the image.

Another fashion trend I'm doing my part in resurging: man skirts. I already own 4 kilts and 1 ankle length skirt. I also have some patterns on order and a seamster/tailtress lined up to make some hakama inspired skirts.

I made my first mini hat for my steampunk outfit this past weekend, and it was ADORABLE!!! I was thinking more people should wear them, and then I look up Mini-Hats on the intarwebz, and it IS being worn by more people. Forever 21 has a few different styles to choose from. I think it's more creative to make them yourselves, but it's cool that it's catching on.
