Position: Team In Training Triathlon Campaign Assistant (temporary, part-time)

Basic Function: Performs diverse projects and activities for the chapter to support and enhance the Team In Training Triathlon program.

This position will work 20 hours per week serving the following roles:

• Triathlon team support - this person will attend some triathlon group trainings (evenings and weekends - limited) with the purpose of supporting the Triathlon team from a staff role. Candidates must have a great enthusiasm for TNT and be able to relay that to participants and help keep them motivated to be successful at their events.
• In Office Administrative support for recommitment - this person will also be responsible for assisting with Spring/Summer recommitment paperwork. Candidates must be very proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Organization and detail orientation are key as well.
• Campaign organization support - this person will work with the Campaign Coordinator to schedule, collate and reproduce triathlon training schedules.
• Maintains a working knowledge of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society mission and its programs to address them.
• Assist with the Hike and Cycle teams as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• In office hours will need to be between Mon-Fri during the 9-5 hour time frame, approximately 5 hours, 4 days a week. Time outside of the office will be decided upon as necessary.

Position Requirements:

· Excellent word processing and database management skills.

· Good communication and organizational skills.

· Detail-oriented and highly organized.

· Knowledge of standard business machines and computers.

· Professional maturity and judgment.

Duration: This position runs from the first week of December through May.

Compensation: Pay for this position is $15 per hour.
