Funny thing, consequential sentences like the one above. So long as the consequent is true, the sentence is true. But you, ma'am, have implied causation. Surely not. For "if the Pope endorses condom use, Bjork's going to get an ego" is just as true. But, if you were Bjork, wouldn't you have an ego too?
