DGN Aftermath, November 15th

I went...and well, let's just say it was interesting to say the least. Other than certain events, I had a good night actually. Didn't get to dance as much as I wanted though, oh well.

How was everyone else's night?

Was great to get out on a rare night of many people. Finally got to meet Zenaleigh, Taysteewonderbunny, deadyeti, and aequorea. Glad to have met you n00bs I'm gettin old when I can actually say that.

Also was good to see everyone else again. I stayed busy talking with people and only made a few rounds around the dancefloor. Can't wait to throw my next party and see that much more faces there.

I had an awesome time....seen some friends, met a few new people...overall music was questionable....i was playing poi when all of a sudden one stopped working :( i feel horrible about it cause i watched Poor Nomad walk around with nothing to do ....Either way that will be fixed soon :D

I was there. It was a weird night. There were lots of people at CC due to the Sisters show. I saw some old friends as well as DGNers I hadn't seen in some time. I'll leave it at that.

no drinking and not much dancing, but i met some new friends and also got to chat with some 'old' friends

let's see... met enishi, tasteewonderbunny, reaper, pestilence, deadyeti, constantin, and snidely whiplash.

also got to see/meet/chat with/dance with... rev, o_m_g, stormknight, darkmetallion, chernobyl, miss kitty, punkprincess, and osaka koneko.

saw but did not get a chance to chat with greyhalo and tanuki. hopefully next time!

Yeah...honestly, last night kinda sucked. I was sad sad.

The Sisters concert was epic and awesome and great, and a whole bunch of old school City Clubbers came afterwards...actually, at the show some asked me if it still existed, so I convinced them to come out, and it was great. I love when the old schoolers come. I really love talking to people who used to come like 15 years ago (I guess the name was different then?). But unfortunately, even though it was the SISTER'S AFTERPARTY, and there had been signs up for weeks and clearly everyone at the club knew, the djs didn't bring their old school cds?? WTH man. I feel bad for saying it, but the music kinda sucked ass last night. I like old stuff and I like new stuff, but the stuff that was played last night was weak. Horrid. I was unhappy... And I guess they did play some great older stuff like Shriekback and some Sisters, but before and around 12, and we were not there yet!! I mean, the show went until 11:30, across town! Jesus people the Sisters fans will come after 12:30! D:D: Again, not pleased...oh well.

For some reason a lot of people seemed not talkative or friendly too, though not DGNers so much as in general...I heard a lot of my friends state the same thing. Bad vibes in the air, man. Tis a shame.

I personally had a death cold (compounded with screaming at the Sister's show...) so halfway through the night I pretty much lost my voice completely, so while I still tried to talk to people, I wasn't able to talk to as many as I wanted.

So anyway, Jon and Janine were sorely missed last night. I guess that was the saddest thing.

I did enjoy talking to all of you whom I did get to talk to!

I was more social than usual last night, which was a good thing. I got to chat more with people and meet some new people too. I didn't dance much at all because the floor was packed and I kept getting knocked around. I seem to be a prime target for drunken idiots who aren't watching where they're stepping.
