I'm glad I'm not the only DGNer whose desk looks like an old bingo lady's! I notice quite a few of you also have little stuffed animals and toys in your work spaces!

Aside from my technological goodies, I tend to keep my desk clean (those who have seen me since I established myself here have seen how much of a neat freak I am.)

So, I have a clean desk...as they say; "A clean desk is the sign of a sick mind."

I have a large, tall desk with shelves and lots of cubbies on top.

Currently, there is a bottle of orange Faygo soda, a stack of unused blue Post-It notes (with a bunch of jotted-on ones under it), a miniature retractable tape measure, a Chinese money toad, a large safety pin, a couple pairs of earrings, a few movies in their cases, an ashtray, a pen which looks like a syringe full of blood, an emery board, a black leather cat collar necklace, a few stray pairs of earrings, Bondage Bear, a pin-up hair flower, a deck of cards, a lighter which looks like a giant match, a Mighty Thor crane machine toy, two frames with photos of a special little girl, a photo of a special guy, a few McDonald's Happy Meal toys, a Hello Kitty mp3 player purse with built-in speaker, a crazy dancing duck toy my friend from Louisiana sent, a stack of Zippos without any fluid in them, a lint brush, a stack of tickets to an event I need to sell, a pile of change, and a bunch of hats on top of the monitor.

Geez, my desk looks like it belongs to a bingo lady.

My desk is mostly the same, except for the bottle of Faygo orange. The "special guy" is gone, too.

Added to the mess are:

a large coffee cup with a cute Halloween spider on it, full of Earl Grey tea; a bag of cat treats; a bottle of red nail varnish; some nail clippers; a tube of eyelash glue, an empty bottle from some liqueur Hunhee bought for me; a package of acrylic nail tips; my old cell phone, and my new one; a few more take-away menus; a box of crayons; a package of sewing needles; a few more items of miscellaneous costume jewelry..

Ummmm....I think that's it.

An assortment of items such as blank disc's for making copies of things I want to keep. An ashtray - my smokes - my cellphone and something to drink (mostly diet coke). A writing tool (pen or pencil) plus paper to write on.
