Tomorrow morning, I have an appointment at the MI College of Beauty to see if I'm eligible for grants. I filled out my FAFSA, but if I can get grant money, that'd be awesome. I'm planning on going to school so that I can learn to do facials and waxing. This, along with the permanent cosmetics certification that I'll be earning next Spring should make me a very happy girl.

Just keep your fingers crossed for me. And, if I need guinea pigs, be helpful and volunteer. ;)

Well, I'm sure that I'll need them for waxing. I'm also sure that I'll need them for permanent cosmetics as well.

I have no eyebrows...I COULD conceivably grow them in, & you can wax those...

But, I don't think I'm gonna' be lettin' YOU put hot wax anywhere else...(I mean my back sickos) :innocent:

...& of course.....GO AHEAD...STAB ME IN THE FACE... :hrhr:

It made me cry. That's because I told O_M_G to wax them, (she does hers) this was when we met...in late 2000.

Of course you will be shaping them not removing them; CORRECT?!?!? ('cause that hurts allot!)

YAY!! Going back to school is always exciting. Good luck with grants and things, I bet that can be few and far between for BS. YAY!! GO BRENDA :happy::animier::happydance

I did the online thing and got dropped for stupid reasons 40 something credits into my degree ... with a 3.8 GPA!

I applied to a local college and got enough in a grant to cover the classes I wanted and books even. Then another grant to cover my 4 year old at the childcare on campus! He's so excited --- he's never had his own class, he's watched his brother and sisters go and has wanted to.

I start in January. :)

Woohoo!

I start on January 26. I'm working on getting a Pell Grant, but at least I have a student loan if that doesn't work out!!

I don't see why you wouldn't qualify for one Bren (a pell grant). GOOD JOB!!! I'm so proud of you. This is awesome. You can use me all you want, perhaps some tattooed eyeliner? LOL
