I hate the mindless techno-y sounding stuff they play sometimes that all sounds alike and all blends into the each other... Just one big long continuous wall of nothing. Can't dance to it.

Never will understand why Beloved and Once in a Lifetime are dance songs. They are so sad. I can dance to them but it doesn't feel right. I just can't really...yeah. I don't want to feel like crying while dancing! Same goes for that one about your mother committing suicide.

I really don't like NIN. There are a few songs that I don't dislike, but usually if NIN is played I will leave the floor, unless I really feel like dancing, but I'd still really rather not listen to it. Also it feels like most people who don't really listen to the music just request that because they actually know it.

I hated that song that says "I hate everything"...just so ... ugh. But then I found out it's a remix? And the original is just as cool sounding in the other parts but doesn't have that stupid stupid line in it. Why do they always play the remix? ><

Oh man, I totally agree with you on the ongoing wall of nothing!!! I think this is the point where I go mingle or use the restroom or just sit.

I love NIN. lol. But I can understand what you mean on people requesting it.

I actually like that song when I am in a bad mood. I just let loose and get angry when that song comes on. LOL.

I hate the adolescent aggression of modern aggro-dance music. This monotonous, boring, noisey :wumpscut:/Suicide Commando/Decoded Feeback screamo EBM. And despite how much shit I may get from people: Combichrist. It's just so simplistic, insipid and all of it sounds alike. It exists solely for the sake of booging down in your big, black boots. No harm there, I suppose. But why dance to that when there are bands like Beauty of Gemina, Das Ich, or Diary of Dreams that can do so much more with this medium.

Sorry if I cannot name specific names because all of that crap sounds exactly the same.

Boom. Crash. "A Scary Voice Chanting". Full Metal Jacket sample. Repeat.

CombiChrist is definately Linkin Park for people that listen to EBM.

You heard one CombiChrist song? Congrats, you just heard all of them, save yourself some time.

Andy LaPlegua can have all of my sexy babies, this is the only thing I dig about CombiChrist anymore. He's perfect, lives in Atlanta, Georgia which is where Pest and I are moving in 2-3 years, and is now apparantly divorced again. I can dream, can't I?

I agree with 2 out of 3. I do quite like that first one...and somehow do I miss it a lot? I don't think they play it nearly every week. A lot, yes, but way less than the other two. And a whole bunch more. I do HATE Fame Glamour, and while Beloved is a nice song, I don't like to dance to it because it is too depressing/sad. And they play it A LOT. C'mon, it's VNV, like every song they have is danceable, and they have a LOT of songs! Why always play the same one (or the same 4 rotated)?

I agree with you about "Beloved." VNV has a lot more songs besides "Beloved" and "Chrome," the two that are ALWAYS played at CC.

The majority of the other VnV songs people clame arent danceable...which is incorrect but oh well.

Oh, exterminate Annhilate Destroy by Rotersand needs to stop...

And I don't care if Grendel remixed this song. It's still a song that jocks request at sporting events in the US.

Maybe it's those same jocks who request it at CC on Saturday nights... :fear:

There will be repeats in this...

Marlyn Manson... He is good business man and knows how to sell himself.... but his music sucks, if I want to listen to Alice Cooper I will listen to Alice Cooper.

Wolfshiem... I am sorry, I know some love them, but it seems to me that it is robo Emo... I see no depth here at all.... it makes me want to claw my eardrums to dust.

Beloved.... same as above... it is a good song, but it is kind of like the movie Titanic for the electro genre... I just want to say "You guys know there is nothing in here that has not been done before by countless others in a better way right???"

Powernoise sets... I like powernoise, just not more then 10 minutes of it at a time... kind of like death metal. Also there is such a thing as good powernoise and bad powernoise to me, but I think sometimes I am the only one who feels this way, it seems like almost everyone thinks its all good or all bad. (Download's Glassblower = Good, Combichrist's This Shit Will Fuck You Up = NOT GOOD)

I don't like beat matching hardly ever.... call me old fashion but I really like knowing when a song starts and ends, some blending is good but how many times in one night do you have to ask if this is a new song or still the old one before you get tired of it.

Raminstine... Look just listen to Liabach OK people? Sheesh....

This maybe a bit technical but kind of goes with monotonous beats and powernoise but... SOFTSYNTH OVERLOAD.... mix it up with hardsynth and other things please... very few people can get away with soft synth alone (there are some) but most of it sounds canned.... BAD FRUITY LOOPS... BAD!

I cant remember the name of it, but that one song with the lyrics that start out with "Dirty Girls..." gets on my nerves for some reason.

Used to like Dead Can Dance's Ubiquitious Mr. Lovegrove and Peter Murphy's Cuts You Up during the first half of the 90s. CC changed all that.
