asthma attack

omg! last night me and my mom boyfriend were playing having a perfume fight and he spraed alot of axes on me and he did it to much AND i passed out for over a hour i woke up in the hostipal and i couldn't breath they had to run me to breathing manchine....and shit,,,,,,,,it was horrible....i was on that machine for ever,,,,,and i didnt sleep....=(

i almost died last night it knock some since in to me that for sure! omg i thought i was going to be gone AND never get to tell my dad how i feel,.,,,,,,,,, i hate my ashma....

Having pretty trigger happy Asthma, myself, it's odd to me that you would pass out, and not know to use your rescue inhaler before that happened.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too... I might get checked out by a doctor. Asthma usually knocks you out only after a long and painful attack. You definately KNOW when it's coming.

My bff, Lisa, has had asthma so bad since she was a kid that there was even a time when I was seven and FORCED her to go in my house even though she protested profusely (I had a cat, and she's deathly allergic), and she was in there for no more than 5 minutes. When she left, I had no clue anything was wrong, but on the walk home she got so bad she collapsed and was in the hospital. To make a long story short, I caused her to flat-line for about 3 minutes I believe, crazy stuff, but even in a case that extreme she did "get warning" that it was about to happen on the way home, there was like a five-ten minute span when she was walking, when her breathing was getting constricted and tight, that she could have used her inhaler, but forgot it.

I dunno, it's probable to collaspe quickly, but even in a case as extreme as the time I killed my best friend, she did have a 5-10 minute span before she actually collasped. I've never heard of someone just INSTANTLY collasping from an asthma attack, but I guess maybe it could happen? Just very odd, I guess you were lucky there were people around, VP.
