I did this back in 2001... I might not be as old as some, but it was the first time I ever went to City Club (or any club really) and wrote down the experience. Well except for my birthday in 1999 but I didn't write that one down. Fun time in Canada though.

Bruce and Jessica haven't been into that place in ages. They did come every once in a while and then about a year and a half ago or so they kinda stopped. I wonder if they moved away or if they're doing well.

Tim Tiki was an awesome DJ but got fired as a bartender for ending up passed out drunk on the couch one too many times. I guess he was an awesome bartender too but I don't drink so I never knew. I saw him at the Noir Leather bash a few months ago and he was doing well.

Yeah, he was a kick-ass DJ - miss those Chamber nights @ The Stick and Deep Dark Retro @ The Labyrinth. Made great shots when he bartended, too. Remember when he got canned from Mephisto's.

Anyone who is missing Thursday nights at Mephisto's are welcome to join us at Auralgasms' Atmosphere event.

Not quite the same thing as Thurs at Mephistos but you might enjoy the mix of Dreampop, Britpop, Triphop, Shoegaze and Electronica we play...(think: Cocteau Twins, Massive Attack, Hooverphonic, The Smiths, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Ride, Lamb, Xymox, I Am X, Sneaker Pimps, Garbage, Slowdive).

Atmosphere is a once a month Thursday night event at Proof Martini Lounge. This month (Thu Dec 18) will feature guest DJ Pleasure Kitten!

John is really indecisive about some things so it is possible. Still it probably is the safest move and if it's open it can always be recreated. I will check into this but it is more than likely still closed.

The calendar entry is still there, I just backdated it to 2008, so I can dig it back up if needed.
