No sir. If I can figure them out, anyone can.

Ready for some competition?

I would love to have all the pressure taken off of me! Jeff just about craps himself every time I beat his monkey ass.

After my hand surgery, I can't.

Hahaha If my MOTHER can figure them out, anyone can!! Granted she only really got them by the end of her week in Japan, but she did eventually get them!! Which was good, because I was sick of breaking the fork out of my bag for her every time we went to a restaurant!! XD

Yeah....I'm REALLY "normal-looking" (whatever that means). I just have an assload of ink.

Exaggeration...

As appealing as that is, we really will have to get the boy child by 9. Oh, and ask Jeff about how I won last night....AGAIN.

and yet another extreme exaggeration. She answered half as many questions as I did...I just couldn't get the pie wedgies, either bad rolls of the dice, or horrible questions when I did land on the right spots.. I feel no shame for "losing" when it was apparent that I'm still pretty smart. Brenda is a worthy adversary, but in a straight up head to head thing...I think I'd take her!

My coworkers were very impressed with my chopstick skillz. I've used them here and there over the years. No big deal. I do like the "real" ones though. They're about and inch and a half longer then the wood one's you get at the restaurant.

Concerning chopsticks:

a bit longer = WAY better

Yeah, Japanese people are always impressed when whitey can use chopsticks, like they're very complicated or something. ^^ When you live there for an extended period of time, it gets old very quickly!! But I found out it's because a lot of Japanese people don't use them correctly, because they grew up using them and got used to bad habits when they were little kids, and never learned to hold them really properly. So it's hilarious - kinda like watching someone eat with a fork bunched up in their fist like a little child does. Watching high school girls eat lunch can be painful! haha

The kicker to me was when I was stopped at a red light on my bicycle and a little old lady was very impressed that I could ride a bicycle, spoken in much the same way as the chopsticks sentence. >.> Because we don't ride bicycles in America either... >.>
