The "Rube Goldberg" contraption to end all!

Simply incredible!!!! It took the creator six months to set up the stunt, and 200 takes to make the film.

That only reminded me that no matter what great things I may do I will always be worthless.

Ooo, I remember that one. I had completely forgotten about it until you posted it. Bookmarked now. IMO, I think the Honda one is the best one because it's more than just balls rolling around on rails. They completely disassembled a car and tried to use as many of the parts as they could in creative ways which is far more challenging than the one jynxxx posted. Not to discount that one, because it is quite cool, but I think the Honda one is more creative and impressive. But they also had a bigger budget.

Anyway, that's still not the one I was thinking about. The one I thought I had bookmarked was a couple guys in their house similar to the one jynxxx posted but different.

The Honda one is very clever, but it appears to be computer-animated. A few of the stunts defy physics (such as those heavy tires rolling weightlessly up the ramp).

I'm sure there are many, many more of these contraptions on YouTube. Keep digging them up! ;)

Does the Pentagon's weapons procurement process count as a Rube Goldberg device?

...'cause it should.

Whoa, that was nuts! More people need to have the Goldbergesque aspirations these days. If there were a TV show competition about projects like this, I'd watch it. Hear that all you TV execs who read these boards?!?! Make it happen!!

Yeah that was awesome but it made me think: WHO IN THE FUCK HAS SO MUCH TIME ON THEIR HANDS?
