DGN newbies wed today

Hey! I have good news at last and I just have to share it. My best friend since the 7th grade, known here as liljrockbunny (who has not posted since September), and her beau of 14 years, known on DGN as Az, were MARRIED THIS MORNING at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Detroit by the Reverend Drew Johnston (who looks mildly like David Bowie with his new haircut)! It was a quiet but truly touching affair. Jrockbunny's mom attended by cell phone, but family members mom and dad of the groom, brother of the groom, eldest brother and sister-in-law of the bride, stepfather of the bride were present. I was a witness to the whole affair, though I couldn't see shit through the tears of joy streaming down my face. I was still dressed in clothes and make-up from CC on account of only getting two hours of sleep, but it was so like a dream that I didn't miss the rest. Congratulations to my friends who prove yet again that truest friendship and truest love can find each other, that love can conquer skepticism, and that fate is what we make it. Best wishes to two people I love as much as my own family. Woohoo! THEY IS MARRIED! (Reception is July 4).
