I put this in Relationships forum because friends are relations....

Thanks to ALL of you who made it to our house yesterday for our Christmas dinner. Sweats were the outfit du jour, and there was a TON of food. I had been brewing a REALLY bad asthma attack all day, and wound up having to go to St. John's on Moross for a little while for a few breathing treatments (I had 5 in all), and a steroid shot in the ass.

People waited, and hung out for a few more hours to boot! Enishi came over, too. We were worried about The Rev, OMG, and Prick making it out. They didn't seem to be coming, so we got comfortable. The dogs barked their asses off, and they were at our door! We wound up being up til 2ish, playing Totally 80's Trivial Pursuit.

You will all be pleased to know that Prick beat me this morning, fair and square, with Jeff nipping at his heels. It was a lack of oxygen on my part. Otherwise, I would have won....as usual.

Thanks for the invite, I had a great time, considering I was stag last night. But that didn't stop us from drinking Elbow Benders and Gorilla Juice!

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
