Destroit Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 ...wow... Do I even have to say "*facepalm*"? Let me also add that there's a good chance that fast food employment is all this person is ever going to get.
Reaper Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Either that looks like a sign from the hood, or a good writing from a chinese person. hehe
Rev.Reverence Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Either that looks like a sign from the hood, or a good writing from a chinese person. hehe it funny cause it tru!
Der Nister Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Maybe it's code for a drug deal or some elaborate FBI operation or...............
taysteewonderbunny Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 No, it's true. Far too many Americans are functionally illiterate--orthographical challenges is just a small bit of it.
Scary Guy Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 orthographicawhat? j/k I've had a college reading level since I was 6, however spelling and grammar are contraband on the internet. I don't get what's so hard about not being a moron and learning to read. I blame the parents mostly, and then the kids when they turn old enough to decide if they want to learn themselves and then don't.

It boggles my mind to even try and comprehend going through life not being able to read or write. It's just........!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I knew of one person that could only spell their name and that was all she could do (according to what a family member told me) and I wanted so badly to ask her how she never learned but I made a promise not to let her know I knew her secret.

OOH, keeping a promise is more important than actually helping someone. Sorry I just don't see the logic in that. Since she should be embarrassed, and it should be an embarrassing thing.
Reaper Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 My mom homeschooled me until I was ready to jump into Kindergarten. I was ahead of my class until 4th or 5th grade. Since high school, English has become my strongest trait and I sometimes look at the uses of the vocabulary some people use and wonder how they don't see it. But I can only understand my own level, which may be different for someone else. I think I enjoyed learning to some degree, but I always kept grammar in check.
