I realized recently that the only way to find likeminded individuals is to allow myself to be classified as goth. I searched high and low through my acquaintances for someone to see Carmen with me, and everyone simply scoffed. I have terrible friends. I'll have to see it with my grandmother, with isn't all that bad, really. It means my ticket and dinner ARE free, after all

Well, Les Miserables is all well and good also. I can't quite say that I like all theatre though. I enjoy operas, because it's beautiful singing.

However I saw Wicked, and couldn't stand it. I guess you could say any modern art isn't really my thing. I'm more of a serious person when it comes to performance. I'd prefer a death scene over a funny one. If I ever come across a performance in theatre where there aren't stupid jokes, or present-day references, perhaps I'd enjoy it.

As it were I've only seen HS performances in terms of plays. I'll have to expand a bit.
