Tip I've learned from eating out..

ask for your carryout container BEFORE you start eating, when your food comes, place HALF of the food on the plate into the carryout container, bag it.. Congrats! you are now eating 1/2 the calories.. :)

 HunHee "eats out"

The three lbs that my scale said I lost in one day are still down today, and I feel smaller today. so I added them to my ticker. Water weight is weird. I was afraid to update the ticker yesterday that it was a fluke and I'd be back to what I was on Friday today.

:jamin:clap: Good job!

I'm only going to weigh myself once a week. A watched pot never boils...

I've lost 5 lbs of the holiday weight so far. But I have often wondered, if my junk is fat, does that make me obese?

at the weight loss company my mom worked for, they suggested every mondays. :) weighing yourself every other day, or even every three days is setting yourself up for failure, because your weight can fluxuate throughout the day, as well as the week. having a set day to weigh will ensure a better reading on what your weight loss is. :)

(and it doesn't have to be mondays, just a lot of the ladies, that was the beginning of their week and it was easier for them to come in, during their lunch break, and weigh in)

stick to the same day, of every week, and try to make it the same time.

also, when you excercise, don't do it at the same time every day. eventually your body will store energy, just for that event, and you will hit a platuea in your weight loss... like for example, do your upper body every other day, and at a different time on the off days, work your lower body. stretch your body as much as possible. :) turn every day events into exercise moments. carrying laundry, picking up toys (if you are a mom of a young baby), things like that. today, I'm going to clean, and I'm going to moving moving moving.. lol :)

YEGADS!!

After eating an entire pound of chocolate truffles over the course of two days last week, I have noticed a few new dimples on my right mudflap. Even I am not safe from gluttony's cruel ravages.. :p

Hopefully, an Epsom salt soak, combined with a coffee grounds and Saran wrap treatment, will cure this.. *crosses fingers*

About to eat my second orange 1/2...I'm spreading out my small portions in an effort to "trick my metabolism" and drinking lots of water.

My damned dirty scale said 210 this morning...I think it's trying to tease me. But my pants are riding kinda loose. regardless, Thursday morings are my "official weigh in" days.

OK, so processed foods aren't the best for you, but sometimes an apple just doesn't cut it. Fruit is the first food that goes in my house, and unfortunately I don't have anymore left :cry I need to go to the store... *sighs*

I'm not sweating the actual weight so much. My pants are a lil looser, shirts hanging a lil better...Bren says I look a lil thinner, and that's all that matters to me.

Anything in a package is the devil, it's hard to avoid all pre-packaged foods, but it pays to at least do your best. The FDA has the government so lobbied...you REALLY do not want to know what goes in your food and isn't listed on the label (legally, might I add). Some of these additives are nothing more than appetite enhancers, why? Because the more food you eat, the more money food companies make, it's a sick business.
