Tonight's 6-mile run/jog: 65 minutes per estimation by audio.

I've been a very good boy lately and lost five lbs of flab over the past two weeks, but today I fell for the evil evil temptation of banana pudding which someone so wickedly left on the counter for me to see after coming home from a ten hour shift.

The crunchy pickle thing does work, but be careful, if you tend to retain water. Pickles contain a lot of sodium. ;)

I retain water easily, so I have to be super careful.

That makes two of us. If I even look at salt, I bloat up like a late Elvis.

I am very proud of Meself for working out on my first day of vacation, rather than being a lazy lump

New six-mile run time (run/jog/walk): 62 minutes. Target: under 55 minutes

The good news is that I am down 6 lbs from what I was at this time last week. The bad news is that it's mostly due to me having been sick on and off (I think some kind of bug that has been exacerbated by stress) for the last week.

59 minutes on the 6-mile run/walk/death march. Waistline improving. No weight check until Wednesday.

I have officially lost 23lbs since I started this thread :bunny:

& About 40 all together since last summer

Today I have decided that I am going to seriously work on losing weight. No more fucking off. I saw pictures of myself. Horrible!! No more of this shit. I've let myself gain most of the weight I lost and it's bullshit. I'm done not doing anything. It needs to be done. I'm tired of feeling like shit. I'm tired of feeling like I'm a huge walking neon sign that everyone stares at. I'm done.

I'm keeping my goals small for now. A little bit at a time, you know?

Yay for you, Bean :animier:

I have been a lazy lump for the last week

Well, not lazy, I just have not worked out.. I still have 15lbs to go... I saw a pic from the BBQ & I look like a cow :verymad:

Perhaps I'm being hard on Meself, because I'm all bloated & PMSie.. But I am not liking the way I look right now.

Weight is now down to 166. Just have to be careful over the next two weeks and I should eventually be back to 160, which seems to be the best range for me.

If you want to start walking, I will meet you half way between our houses to do it. :) It's not a lot, but it's a start. I need to loose 30 lbs before October 29/30. I have a dress to fit into.

This dress but in black with red dragon print.

That matches this jacket. :)

That dress is hot!!

It was great walking with you yesterday, I'm available today and tomorrow, and of course I know we're planning Friday already. w00t! I feel psyched!

We should start a step counting club. I walked about 10,885 steps yesterday. I was told that about 2000 steps is 1 mile. Without doing anything but working, I walk about a mile a day.

Yes, that outfit is pretty hot, unfortunately for me, I got the correct size (the one I generally wear), but the dress runs 1 1/2 size too small (which I read online AFTER I bought the dress), and in the boob department (where I need the extra room) I'm not sure it would fit me if I just lost 15lbs. I always have that problem, so I am determined to lose the 30 for good measure. :/
