candyman Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Haha...tons of people get hurt by muzzle loaders every year...guns are so advanced now that we have forgotten how crude they were before. I have had residual powder go off on me before but damn...these guys were so stupid...not even gunsmiths use torches save for very small ones on the sights. Maybe they should have figured out what kind of gun they had...the ball removal tool is only ten buck or you can make one yourself.

Soulrev Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 I wonder if they're trying to see who the muzzleloader originally belonged to? Improper disposal of a firearm is a federal charge and carries a fairly hefty maximum.
