She is not a Hybrid.

The humans don't know who "built" the "skin jobs" and neither do the cyclons. No one was even aware that 2000 years ago they existed.

Now, lets change thoughts a bit. The series, though vastly different from is following the orginal rather close. Right about now, in the original, what was guiding Gaius revealed itself to be none other than Lucifer. What brought Starbuck back from the dead turned out to be "God".

The Death Star when it crossed into a different universe after entering a wormhole cause by the trial run of the beam which wasn't calibrated right and when they adjusted it again it just wiped out earth instead of completely destroying it?

Jarod and I were talking about this a few minutes ago. He has a good theory. He thinks Humans wiped them out and the toasters have been executing a 2000 year revenge. Seems really possible.

i think tigh confused a six with ellen (again) in his flashback. i think its a red herring. im not sure what the deal is with starbuck. she might be a toaster, but so might D, or even roslyn.

i think the 13th tribe nuked themselves. the 5 are the 5 models that composed the 13th tribe and their models revived in a res ship or through some funky res tech. how that brought them to the colonies i dont know.
