e-jewell Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Share them. Things you just feel you Must do, either all the time or on a scheduled basis (the interesting ones... not brushing teeth, etc) I cut my hair myself shorter and shorter every week, on my own, getting more and more risky in the cuts that I attempt. This most recent turned out quite well, but I'm sure I'll get bored soon and cut it even shorter again. Probably won't turn out as well. But I must. Hopefully my schedule won't allow time for it. Also since the majority of my life is spent playing vg's, of course they'd fit in here.... anyways I save about ten times when I'm playing. JUUUSTTT in case I forgot. I save constantly, and I heal myself constantly if there is a healer available. I'll often get into battle, take just a little damage, and gain exp. I then go heal myself, even if it's aways away, proceed to save, then repeat the process a good 10 times. I'm very neurotic about losing data... I haven't pinpointed the childhood trauma that causes this yet though. Yeah sorry for the quality of the thread, usually I'd say I'm pretty interesting... I'm bored to the point I'm boring though. I need something new to do, see, or discuss.
candyman Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 The mohawk is never straight enough...ever...it can take hours My legos must be dusted daily... My car is maintained like an aircraft...which is way too much for a Honda...always checking what gear I am in too Race day means four packs of cigarettes and hair loss over adjusting the timing, tire pressures, oil, fuel maps, exhaust length, harness bar, nitros staging, shift timing...I kill crew members occasionally
Eevee Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 chocolate! +1 I'd eat every bit of chocolate in Willy Wonka's factory if possible.
Sparrow Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 I count the letters in peoples names and see if their first name is symetrical, then see if their last name is, then if both together are, then if counting the space in between the first and last name as a letter.
StormKnight (1) Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Cleaning house ala basic training/tech school (including getting on my hands and knees to mop the floor with bleach cleaner, water, and white towels.
Scales Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Caffeine, technology, morbidly dark music. I'm a perfectionist, I'll criticize myself and my work at almost any cost. In the case of writing, I'll write thousands of words over the course of years and delete most of them. My blogs from different places have probably totaled enough to make a few novels, and they're all gone. When I write seriously, I revise endlessly. There can be no mistakes, everything has to make sense unless its not supposed to. A story has to be tight, no loose ends, anything important has a cycle to it. If something isn't good enough it's gone, even if it sounds amazing and I've worked on it for hours, it still has to feel right.

taysteewonderbunny Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Hmm. No compulsions. I like boring things, though. I just don't feel that I HAVE to do them. Like anagrams, tweezing, cleaning grout with a toothbrush. I love washing dishes by hand. It's the most satisfying thing (next to 12 hours of sleep, a big pasta dinner and marathon sex, that is).
taysteewonderbunny Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Staring at the computer screen. and pushing buttons.

Brenda Starrr Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I suppose that my ink is a compulsion. I'm looking at my shin work and realizing that I need to have soe of the color done within the next couple of weeks. If I don't, I'll be really shitty and quite obsessive over it.

Brenda Starrr Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Well, Ikeep looking at it and thinking that I've waited too long. I'll just have to set some of my tips aside for a couple of weeks...
Homicidalheathen Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I have a compulsion for this wee lil herb...I smoke it at least 3x a week.
Burrich1 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 If I read the comic's in the paper, I must read each one twice. The first time it doesn't even register. It annoys the hell out of me, so I don't read them often.

I also HAVE to read ALL the print on my box of cereal...and then promptly forget any of what it said. So I guess I DO in fact have a compulsion. So earlier, I lied.
Head Wreck Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 getting jobs done now. i'm a bad procastinator so to avoid the issue i make a point of doing it there and then
bean Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 My ink has to be even. What I mean by that is that if I have something on one ankle, there has to be something on the other ankle. When I write something by hand, my handwriting must be perfect. I will rewrite things until they look perfectly written. I have to check to make sure the door is locked at least 2 times before I can leave the house. I have to make sure it is locked before I go to bed. I check to make sure my alarm is set at least 2 times before I go to sleep at night. My wedding rings have to be lined up together perfectly at all times.
StormKnight (1) Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Spelling out in detail on order sets when I have to hand write the bloody things. Oh in addition to being a military-like neat freak being on my knees with white towels, I also do *all* my laundry when I am cleaning.
bean Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I also do *all* my laundry when I am cleaning. I do that too
