SomeDanGuy Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 Whoa, this thread totally surprised me! Thanks you 'guys'!
Brenda Starrr Posted May 21, 2005 Author Posted May 21, 2005 < My sources say that I am NOT a guy. You know this for fact.,
SomeDanGuy Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 I know, hence the quotes! The colloquial phrase was the sentiment I wanted to convey, but I know you aren't males. I guess I could've said "folks" instead, but it sounds weird Don't worry, I haven't forgotten what's in your PJ's
Brenda Starrr Posted May 21, 2005 Author Posted May 21, 2005 How's about "ladies", or are you insinuating that we aren't capable of being ladies? :blink
SomeDanGuy Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 Well, I'd prefer to go the gender-neutral route, but there isn't a good option, so I just put the common one with some quotes to show I'm aware it's incorrect. I think we really need some gender-neutral pronouns in english. But anyway, I'm sure you COULD act like ladies, but what fun would that be? I rather you didn't. :grin Lady-like behavior is boooooring!
