why havent i seen this before i so want to go maybee i can finish my scarf finally i would just need to pick up another crochet hook i lost mine when i moved back home but i did just find the scarf project i started when i was 16.

Hey guys um....how bad would it be if I didn't show? The only person I know who was going to make a skirt with me was aequorea...I'm so sorry, I'd still love to teach you.... And possibly a craftette... D: But I am feeling really sick this morning, and I do believe it is more than just the lack of sleep after City last night. Headache, stuffed up, general misery... I think I've finally caught what's been going around. I will try to make it, but I can't promise anything atm. I am so so sorry.

If people were planning to make a skirt, please do say so...motivate me to get myself over there for fear of letting you down. But otherwise... :no

Will do. I'm actually feeling better than I have in a while, but DIZZY. yes, dizzy. And not the normal "well, I'm blond and that happens" sort of dizzy. I mean "wow, the room won't stay still--is this some sort of tectonic phenomenon?" dizzy.

Eleven, Sky, and me totally CRASHED and were out for half the day. Around 4:30, Eleven was making pancakes and was talking about shit and I was like "GYAAA! THE STITCH N' BITCH WAS TODAY!" and then we both had a heart attack (not seriously).

you should have been there it was great i finished my scarf it was only 8 years in the making well if you count the actual time i spent on it over the 8 years it took 5 hours but man what a stretched out 5 hours.

I'm sorry I missed it too...I really wanted to be there.

I'm still feeling sick today though so I know it wasn't just the early hour doing it to me! I slept allll day yesterday though so I think I will get better soon. I hope.

But I still think that if it will be for 4 hours, 4-8 is a much better time on a Sunday than 12-4...having a goth event starting at noon is just insanity!! hahaha...

Anyway I am so sorry I couldn't make it...next time I will be there for sure!

I have several shirts (among other things) that a very generous, and lovely DGNer donated and I plan on making them into very unique skirts, when I'm done with them. :)

ya know, i was thinking of moving all my blogs out of my live journal and using it as a step my step in how I do things, when I sew.... :) since I'll be starting some really cool projects. I have to finish those damn curtains. ugh.. suck tedious work lol... but if anyone thinks that's a good idea... OH, and if anyone wants to add to it, I can give them admistrative access to it, to add their own step by step to it. :) just idea... :) I love this stitch and bitch thing, but not all of us craftsy people can make it there, sadly. :) coming together is a great human element. we can help each other that only human contact can mend... but as far a current projects go, we can do something online. :)

All silliness aside though, this is actually not a girlish design much at all...just a long black gothic dress? So it's not actually all that silly. You should come over and look at patterns/design with me and we'll figure out exactly what to do.

OK, lets say I want to buy a sewing machine, what one/type would you gals recommend? I want to eventually be able to do corsets, which you all know sometimes (the good ones) have SEVERAL layers in them, and OR Vinyl, for we all know how much I absolutely LOVE vinyl, speaking of which, *ponders vinyl lolita outfit* :drool

Anyway, what do you gals think?
