Michael Jordan, Steven Speilberg, Neil Diamond Top 'Most Expensive Celeb Divorce' List

April 13, 2007 - Michael Jordan, Michael Douglas, Linda Hamilton, Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney

Michael Jordan Photos (9) Steven Spielberg and Neil Diamond have topped a list of the 10 most expensive celebrity divorces, compiled by Forbes.com.

The legendary director paid Amy Irving $100 million - half of his fortune at the time - when they divorced after four years of marriage in 1989.

Spielberg, who is now worth $3 billion, was beaten to the top spot by basketball legend Michael Jordan.

The pending divorce between Jordan and his wife Juanita, who have been married for 18 years, is set to be the most expensive celebrity divorce ever. Jordan earned an estimated $350 million during their marriage, and Juanita stands to receive more than $150 million.

Neil Diamond, in second place, married TV production assistant Marcia Murphey in 1969, before he released his first gold record 'Touching You, Touching Me'.

By the late 70s, Diamond was one of the world's most successful solo artists - earning more than $14 million annually. Murphey filed for divorce in 1994, after 25 years of marriage and was given a $150 million settlement.

Harrison Ford is named in fourth place after his divorce from Melissa Mathison in 2004 cost him $85 million.

Ford, who married Mathison in 1983, became one of Hollywood's highest-paid actors during their union - making $20 million a film.

Mathison also received a percentage of Ford's future earnings from films he made while they were married.

Kevin Costner rounds up the top five, after ex-wife Cindy Silva was awarded $80 million. The couple married in 1978, before divorcing 16 years later.

Sir Paul McCartney's pending divorce to Heather Mills is likely to cost him more than $60 million - earning him the sixth spot in the poll. The Beatles' legend is worth an estimated $700 million.

Michael Douglas, director James Cameron and Lionel Ritchie also made the top 10, while Jerry Hall's divorce from Rolling Stones singer Sir Mick Jagger netted her $15 to $20 million. The former model filed for divorce in 1999, after learning Jagger had fathered another woman's child.

Jagger - worth an estimated $325 million at the time - successfully contested the legality of their Bali wedding and Hall received a fraction of Jagger's estate.

True story...she took almost EVERYTHING...they (satan and her lawyer, whom she was banging too) had devised a bogus PPO against me early on in the process, used it to "squeeze me" through the whole process (trying to break me by hitting my pocket book, as defending yourself against criminal charges is more expensive than a civil suit). She called the cops claiming I was "stalking her" almost everyday for the entire 6 months. To make a long story short, instead of me going to jail/being tried for contempt of court, they offered a deal...then they switched the documents so that I got Nothing. Nada, zip. She didn't need my stuff, she was just a greedy bitch. She didn't EVER care for the dogs, I did. Once again, she did it just to be a flamingcuntwhorecumdumpstersuccubus.

Since we thought that a "fair deal was going to happen, my lawyer and I didn't prepare for the criminal trail. In a (in hindsight) split second poor decision, I signed the "new deal" and all my possessions (all wedding gifts) were left off of of my list of things I was legally entitled to. I was then offered a 6 hour window 4 days later to collect only a small handfull of my belongings. During that window, my Mom died in an argument with my ex-mother in law. :cry

Read the book when I finally get it published.

Anglosphere divorce laws = hell on earth for men, paradise for sub-human gold diggers.

Some guy in Wisconsin has been doing that and hasn't been busted yet...three wives gone...he said he isn't getting married again because "he doesn't want his heart broken again" but I just think he doesn't want to get caught. Most of the evidence against him has been thrown out and it looks like after a few more trials he will be free...both of those trials is his suits against other families

Wow. I think thats the worst I have ever heard.

I hope lawyer guy used her for head...took her money and dumped her.

OK, all "wishful thinking aside," I seriously hope that The Antichrist lives a long, bitter, disease riddled sad existence. That will be my reward for always taking the "high road."

If, by chance, any even remotely "odd fate" should befall her, I'd be the prime suspect. That's a serious drawback to having a modest military background and a history full of national marsmanship awards. That and a lot of friends in "low places." :wink

Well, not to give away too much of the book, 6 months after our divorce was finalized, she got engaged again to a guy sh'e BEEN dating for ten years...including the 5.5 that I was with her. Her two other fiance's would just have to wait apparently. One of her "other suitors" tried to sue me for allegedly stealing the engagement ring he gave her. I set his ass straight. She did (heard from a very reliable source) try to use all previous rings/bridal sets for a swanky new ring.

She was angered to find out that someone  had switched out her diamonds in favor of cubic zirconia prior to our divorce's finalization. Which ruined her plan for a massive 3 diamond engagement ring for her new man to give to her. It's good to know jewelers too.

It did make me happy to hear that...and she must've known...because she had seen the original GIA paperwork. But I'm sure she was offended regardless, and that makes me...

Yeah, the courts were somewhat beguiled by her "poor lil me" routine. I cannot believe that no matter how incredulous I was or how things really were, she and her legal cuntsel just kept "putting it too me."

So not being a "big" coffee drinker at the time, I could've cared less about that one in particular at the time. But most of our wedding gifts were from my family and friends. What angered me was how the court didn't do anything for me when it came time to "repay me" for the 50,000.00 in film/slides/and travel sank into the filing cabinet she left out over the winter during our separation. Because I have a penis. My 19 month marriage cost me a lot. I guess that's all I'm sayin...time could've been better spent with my family and friends instead of waiting on that succubus hand and foot. That's the worst part of it...what did I miss? Moreso that what had I lost.

Unfortunately, sick fucks like Steven Grant make every woman's PPO leverage stick in the craws of guys like me.
