We're thinking about doing a show at LUNA. This would be a up close and personal show and more laid back. What do you think? Who would come out? I believe this would be on Friday, Feb 27th and we're gonna make a decision tonight so let me know what you think.... is it worth it... would you come out.... would I have to stalk you to get you to come out? We do take bribes.

Bah!! After moving my Normally scheduled second Saturday of every month poker game to EVERY other possible weekend day in February, this would fall on that same night. Almost ANY other Friday night AFTER Feb, B and I could probably make. VD scewed us all around for scheduling this year....and then there's The Dirty Show, DEAC, My teaching, Roller Skating Night...etc, etc.

I'm not really concerned about hellbound being on the same night.... we've played other nights that were hellbound nights and we got in a good crowd. I also think that the hellbound crowd is mixed in within a lot of the people we know go to our shows but.... don't consist of those people that much. I don't see a lot of who I saw at the Hellbound we played at, at our shows.... who knows.

I wonder why they chose to do it at Blonies again.

I'm not too happy about some of the things I've been hearing about blondies - I love the place but there are some weird things going on there.

Well - Hellbound isn't a reason to not do the show at Luna..... I think it will still be a good night.... but please give me more info because we are pretty picky as to where we play.

*****Sidebar**** a friend of mine who performs with SPAG said that Blondies screwed them after their show their last weekend. She used the term "ripped us off." For what it's worth, I consider her to be a very reliable source. not cool if that's the case...

Ok - well now the cats let out of the bag.... yeah - thats what I'm talking about. NYE, Faster Pussycat played and the bar wasn't going to pay them.... they are a national band and had a contract. When they bitched about not getting paid which they had every right to do... a bunch of "hwymen" (Motorcycle gang) beat the shit out of them. Our friend and FP's record rep was there and somehow avoided getting hurt. I'm not into motorcycle gangs enforcing BS at bars and I have seen these guys at CC and at Mephistos on numerous occasions. (one of the major reasons I don't go to CC anymore).

Yeah - as much as Blondies is a cool place.... we're staying away.... and they have asked us to come back a few times.... can't be mixed up in that.

I'm thinking it is a chance for us to do an intimate show. We've been doing so many bigger shows and the band and I want to do something small like the "good old days" lol. (I'm just kind of upset that Mephistos closed because we were wanting to do a show there for a while and John really wanted us as well)

Hmm, I haven't seen their colors at CC, but then again, I only get down there every few months or so. I'd walk right outta ANYWHERE where that "White Power" crap was going on. I'm not down with racism in any shape or form.

I'm with you. I would rather see my friends CyberTrybe, than go to Blondies again.. I didn't like the area Blondies was in either, but I liked that better than the venue the Damned show was at. Won't stop me from going again tho..hehe Apparently I like trouble..
