our main obstacle on this is going to be transport.

I'll be spending time looking at Jynxies Cavalier to see if i can get the lump turning over, but i do suspect that i may not get it on the road immediately, there's the starter, the tyres, battery, and Jynxie says there's smell of petrol in the crankcase so I'll need to look at it. fact is we don't get the Chevy 2.2 units over here so i haven't a clue what i'll be looking at...

then there's costs to put it on road legaly after all that...

so what we really need are willing volunteers on certain days (cos were all busy peeps nowadays) ahead of time so we can plan ahead without inconveniencing others. any such help is greatly appreciated

other than that. a small bar sounds good

We're trying to stay away from the large nightclub environment, during his visit-- especially since the recent influx of spunkwipes has made those places even worse.

Any bars we attend will most likely be good old-fashioned dives; where we can actually hear what our friends are discussing, there are affordable drinks, and we won't have to kick anyone's ass out of annoyance.

Sounds just like Dead-Line Wednesday to me...

It looks like it's starting to turn into goth cheers there .

I have tools and whatever assistance you may need. Just let me know. I'm working with Jynxxy to try to get the battery done asap so we can establish wheather the starter is in fact inoperative.

There's a good chance I could help out with transportation for a day or two, especially if it's local. My externship ends on the 27th, so I will have more free time on the week days.

Gusoline Alley is a must-see for any pub-crawl in Royal Oak, along with Fifth Avenue if its on Tueseday, Wednesday, or Thursday, as they have some (usually) pretty kick-ass local bands with no cover.
