The bowling is a good suggestion, Marc. There is a nice bowling alley in my area.

OK, peoples! It's FOUR DAYS until he gets here. So far, we have events planned for the 2nd, the 4th, and the 5th. ARE THERE ANY MORE SUGGESTIONS?

Otherwise, I will be expecting to have my husband to myself, for the remainder of the following week. Yes, I'm fucking greedy and covetous. What of it? I'm a pirate.

OK, I'm keeping this post to less than 10,000 words so you can all read it.

It's three days away and I think I speak for most of the board when I say, I don't know what all three events are, and at what time.

PLUS, we're now going bowling too!

WE NEED:

-Time

Then, one of us will start a thread for EACH event so the whole board know about it and can plan.

BTW, if it's not too soon, after he arrives, we could do dinner Sunday night. I suggested it already in another thread because a lot of us are helping Marc move that day.

It could be a mellow way to start the week. Either go out or do a pot luck.

As for the bowling there is the Garden Bowl right there as part of The Majestic. Built in 1913 probably the closest thing to "the detroit bowling alley".
