..so I'm tellin' Jr. Goat about how peoples in Brittan talk funny..or that we do over here...(we were talkin' about next Saturnday)...& he asks, "What do they sound like?" so I does a bit of English mish-mash...he breaks out with, "What the flag-nog."

Thankfully, he won't be able to hear the sort of British vernacular that will be in use while Wreck, Msterbeau, and Stormknight are working on my car.. *covers the old folks' and little ones' ears*

I'm assuming our excitement is palpable for every member on the board, as well as the lurkers, who have been looking in on our real-life soap opera's progress. This is only the beginning.

As I said, y'all probably won't be hearing but a slight peep from us, for the first few days after his arrival. We'll be in a world of our own (but isn't it, already?).

I'm still making ready my little vardo, today; shooing away all the cobwebs and detritus of bachelorettehood. I hope he'll be comfortable here. I don't have much, but it's all mine-- and what's mine is his.
