Nightgaunt Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 I've long been interested in photography, but had to give it up for a while when real life got in the way of pursuing my hobbies. I used to focus mainly on animals and urban decay, but now I'm thinking I'd like to participate in the next DEAC event. So, anyone want to be my victim, er, subject? Male, female, it doesn't matter; I just need to build up a portfolio of human subjects. You'd get a CD of pics, of course...
jynxxxedangel Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 You know I can always model for you, bro. Lots of spare time on my hands, as usual.
Nightgaunt Posted February 8, 2009 Author Posted February 8, 2009 I should also add that I'm not interested in shooting anything creepy or pornographic. I'm looking for (obviously) goth, but also steampunk, high/low fantasy, cyberpunk, dieselpunk, sci fi (space opera), and tiki/exotica. Or hell, jeans and a t-shirt. Basically, whatever the model is comfortable with or wants to do. I'm always open to ideas... Thanks, Jynxie! I'll have my girl call your girl and we'll do lunch to discuss possible synergistic strategies for the mutual enhancement of our bottom lines.

You want to start out with people by themselves so you have plenty of time to think about what you're doing and time to play without too many variables nor worrying about a line of people waiting. The next DEAC will likely be at the end of May or early June.

The next DEAC will likely be at the end of May or early June. I want new shots done. Jeff's going to to the jail shoot as long as we can get clearance to get in, but I want other people's photographic perspectives as well... I'mthinking I'll model for whomever wants to shoot me.

Nightgaunt Posted February 10, 2009 Author Posted February 10, 2009 Holy god. Didn't think I'd actually get responses to this. Marc's right; I'm not equipped to handle a large crowd of people. Well, not with my camera, anyway. My schedule is crazy, so I'll have to get in touch with each of you, individually. Thank you so much - all of you - for offering to help me out.

NO prob bro.....perhaps a few opportune small gatherings (2-3 models at a time) can be planned around town in the next couple of months?

Back in ye olden days right after art school didn't pan out, that's basically how I did it. Never had any "girl party" all at one time. I wouldn't apologize for that. Man.. reminds me of another "hobby" i used to do that was less work than DGN and got a lot more respect. lol
