4chan may be the sickest and most disgusting place on the Internets, at times. At other times, it can be hilariously funny.

And sometimes, it can rise up and strike down those who deserve to be struck down. (I'm not even going to mention the Sons of Elron here.)

Two days ago, a pair of sub-human brain-dead idiots thought it would be funny to post a video to YouTube that showed them beating a cat to within an inch of its life.

Stuff like this happens online from time to time: a year or two ago, a person in China put a video up on her blog showing her crushing the skull of a live kitten. Then, last year, a US soldier in Iraq was filmed tossing a puppy over the side of a bridge for kicks. In both instances, there was a huge uproar and the offenders were tracked down and punished. The morons who posted that cat-beating video were obviously unversed in the history of Internet tastelessness of this sort.

But /b/ was aware of it. And /b/ took action.

It's true... people do horrible shit to cats that they would never do to any other animal. I totally don't get wanton animal abuse... hell, I don't care for dogs, but I can't see myself ever abusing one... or standing by while someone else did.

also on that site I have seen Sept 11th jokes several of them, and even a photoshopped pic of someone jumping from one of the buildings and it said
