Doorstep Astronomy: Spot 5 Planets

Wish I had a telescpoe - this sounds like it's gonna be really cool.

This month you'll have an opportunity to see all five naked-eye planets – but not all at once. Two of them are evening objects, while the other three are clustered together low in the east-southeast sky deep in the dawn twilight.

The planets move around in our sky and become brighter and dimmer over time depending on where they are in their orbits around the sun. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are never visible to the naked eye....

I've always wanted to see Saturn through a telescope, but don't have one or access to one. *sigh* Someday...?

The only planet I got to view is Mars and it was back in '03 I believe (somewhere around that time) and it was cool as hell.

I think Mars is one of those planets that you don't get to view very well very often and I was lucky enough to know someone that had a telescope.

I remember it could also be faintly seen by the naked eye at the time so it was fairly large in the sky.

It's supposed to warm up a little this week.

If it's clear I may take out my telescope and see what i can see
